Educated at University of Southern California and Harvard Business School, Devita has always been passionate about the world of business, technology and luxury. After blending the best in technology with the experience of luxury, Devita has successfully built Vu into a Rs.500 crore company with over half a million TVs sold across the world. With 300 employees, 11 offices, 18 flagship stores and 800 retailers reaching consumers nationwide, Vu Televisions is the largest selling TV in India after global behemoths such as Sony, Samsung and LG.

An eye for design matched with consumer insights and strong business acumen, Devita and her team have constantly introduced hit products such as the Iconium series with Netflix, Pixelight HDR TV and is now soon launching a Smart TV made especially for Indian consumers. “I want to make products that I look forward to engaging with, when I reach home after a long day of work” says the young CEO, “because what I watch is what influences my thinking and my outlook to life”. Currently a fan of House of Cards, Masterchef Australia and The Crown, Devita’s personal favourite gadget is her 75” Vu Pixelight HDR TV in her South Mumbai home.

Clearly a woman of today, Devita took the bold decision to be the face of her brand and was called ‘The Model CEO’ by Forbes Magazine. She is passionate about leadership and gender equality, and has been propagating the role of Indian women in global business through her interactions with President Pranab Mukherjee, President Donald Trump, Business magnate Richard Branson among others.
